Bay Healing Arts Guild is presenting it's Second Annual Healing Arts
Faire on Saturday, September 23rd from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Some of
the healing modalities represented during the day include Reiki, the
Bodytalk System, Massage Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Heart Centered
Hypnotherapy, Healing Energy Art, Chiropractic Medicine, Wholesome
Childbirth Options, Healing Herbs, and more. Our Healers will
be present both to talk about their individual modalities and/or
provide the visitor with short healing sessions to give them a sense of
what each is. During the day there will also be demonstrations in Qi
Gong, Tai Chi, Feldenkrais Method-Awareness Through Movement, and Yoga.
A two hour break will be provided between the day and evening sessions. The evening segment of the Healing Arts Faire will be focused on Healing Energy Sound and be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M, with drumming of African healing rhythms, the healing sounds of a didjeridoo, and Heather Christy along with other local musicians celebrating life and community through songs. The cost of admission is by donation as are any healing sessions that the visitor might want to experience. The Healing Arts Faire will be at the Pine Grove Community Center located at 225 Laneda Avenue in Manzanita across from Mother Nature's Natural Health Food Store.
